• Founders of Cooperative Roots moved into 3090 King in August 2003 and finally purchased the lot in February of 2005. The three-story Victorian home has undergone extensive renovation, and boasts a brand-new foundation and slab, new first and third floors, a complete solar electric array (shared with our neighbors at 3088) as well as solar-powered radiant-floor heating. We're so green, we even have convection cooktop! Buying organic, local food in bulk and working our enormous garden gives us great joy, as does sitting in our redwood hot tub. We share dinners four nights a week and hold a community brunch on the first Sunday of every month. Give us a call, or drop in some time!
