Casa Zimbabwe is EXPRESSIVE DYNAMISM. We are self-referential dynamic creation, an ever increasing authenticity of being. BRICK!
When did you form? Briefly, what is your co-op history?
Our house was one of the first buildings ever constructed specifically to be a coop, completed in the fine style of functional concrete and steel in the late 1960's. It was also one of the first co-ed student housing units in the country. It has always been a source of radical action, of the most amazing parties... its days of raves and heroine may be over, but such things are not necessary for its burgeoning creativity. The House House of Stone will stand stalwart against the forces of contemporary irony, except for that which makes its iron core - the shafts of the asophogus breathe and heave, expelling the dust of time in such fury that its residents are both consumed and created. We are living proof of the dynamic growth of the mechanistic MACHINE.
What is the long term vision of your co-op?
We are an independent nation, declared Sovereign in 2001. We intend to gradually increase our power over the world (as we have over the bureaucracy of the USCA) until we have conquered all evil worldwide. Our Radical Royalist-Anarchism will be the next century's hegenomy.
Do you own or rent your living space?
We own the house, just as we own the land, just as we own the USCA, just as we own the parking lot... We own as much as any human can have "ownership" over such ephemerals as space. More accurately, the machine owns us.
